The Arenas

Our arenas are some of the finest around Hay!Land. In all of our arenas, we've taken great pride to make sure they are taken care of right from the start. We used the best quality materials in building as well as equipment. We've taken great pride in making sure that each arena has quality equitation footing to keep you and your horse safe from injury.

About Each Arena

The Main Indoor Arena & Observation Lounge has a seating capacity of 750 for shows hosted at MH. This indoor show arena is a two-level arena. We generally use this arena for the winter multi-day, multi-discipline shows we host. There is equipment for all disciplines in the supply area.

The Observation Lounge- This is the second level to the Main Indoor Arena. It has stadium seating for 500 on the lower level and 250 seats are available in our observation lounge. In our lounge you can have your lunch/dinner and while you enjoy your meal, why not enjoy watching the horse/rider teams show their stuff? Our Lounge is like no other. It has versatility! This lounge is completely enclosed and has seating for 250 guests half way around the arena. Our lounge has a full lunch and dinner menu with continental breakfast foods on show days. The lounge sometimes plays host to our gatherings after our big shows. It's a great place for friends to gather and we welcome you to come and observe any time.

The Main Outdoor Stadium- This stadium is used specifically for the multi-discipline, multiple day shows that we host in the Spring and Summer. It has a seating capacity of 800 spectators. This stadium has all of the equipment needed for all disciplines located in the supply area.

Outdoor Show Ring- This is a general facility that is used for various purposes. We use it for training, pleasure riding, and jumping in general. We have many jump components in this arena so that courses can be changed easily for any level of rider. This is basically a field that allows many spectators to sit where they’d like to in their own chairs. We do have 3 sets of bleachers capable of sitting 150 guests. They are centrally located with the thirds set at the closed end of the show ring. This capacity level of 150 guests DOES NOT include the spectators that choose to sit in their own chairs.

Dressage Arena- This arena is an outdoor facility, however it is sheltered. It is somewhat smaller than our outdoor show ring. We have aluminum bleachers on the closed end and on one side. Seating capacity is 100 guests. We have no jumping components here as this is where our dressage horses do their training on sunny days.

Small Indoor Arena- This arena is generally closed to the public as it is used for training purposes only. It is adjacent to the MH personal barns and has a small observation lounge. We use the lounge to observe without disturbing our trainers. This arena can be used for a spur of the moment training session for most disciplines. They happen a lot around here with the variety of horses we own.

With 1000 acres I would definitely say that we have tons of room to ride outdoors. When the weather permits, enjoy some fresh air and get in a ride on your companion as well. There are many many trails to take advantage of on a beautiful day.

CONSTRUCTION is underway for the Cross Country part of the Three Day Event. We are about 1/3 of the way finished in the designing process. Once the course has been designed by the Olympic Committee, we will hire a special team to come in and build the course to the committees specifications.

The RACING part of the Olympics will take place at the Foxfield Race Track which is a mere 15 minutes from Magnolia Hills. The track will not be used until the Olympic Games. The course is in process of being conditioned for the event!
